Hero Blast, a revolutionary new laser tag device for children, is now available to the laser tag industry.

Hero Blast, a revolutionary new laser tag device for children, is now available to the laser tag industry. This new device comes in a non-gun form so operators can offer gaming and other laser tag events in hard-to-reach markets such as schools, public places, churches, and more. Operators can serve their regular customers and easily expand into these new markets.

Aside from being of non-gun design, Hero Blast is jam-packed with hardware and software features rarely found elsewhere. The device is a far cry from the other, cheaper non-gun options available through mass retailers. To start, Hero Blast is constructed to be very durable and weather resistant for use by children in any climate. It has a powerful speaker, vibrational feedback, full color touch-screen controls, a safety wrist strap, multi-function activation buttons, advanced laser optics, a light up aiming sight, and even gesture-based controls and functions.

On the software side, Hero Blast comes loaded with options usually only found on the highest end of electronics. The device is up and running very quickly with a simple set-up wizard and multiple languages to choose from with more coming soon. Players can join and leave games with ease, and monitor their scoring at any time – no PC necessary. The units come with four pre-defined teams and three player class options, each with their own special ability. Teams and game options can be expanded when Hero Blast is synced to the iCOMBAT Engine (ICE), a robust laser tag gaming software available for free. Last but not least, a variety of exciting sound themes allow operators to work with any audience.

One of the most exciting features of Hero Blast is Hero Nation, the online player community. Profiles can be created and stats can be tracked anywhere at any time. When Hero Blast is synced to the ICE software, players can sign in when they play at licensed facilities and accumulate stats, earn achievements, and climb the leaderboards.

“We are excited to release such an innovative and exciting new product,” said Rick Jensen, President of Hero Blast. “With Hero Blast, we now have a laser tag option available for any type of operator serving any type of market. Tie that in with our world-class software and laser tag gaming takes a big leap into the future.”

The first run of Hero Blast devices has been sold out, but pre-orders are being taken starting at the International Attractions and Amusement Parks Association (IAAPA) tradeshow November 18th, where the device will be unveiled to the public for the first time.
